Quilting is Murder is in the 6th week. There are 9 weeks total. It is really getting good. this week if you find all the clues there is a cypher to figure. Soooo much fun. I figured out the cypher. Now where does that lead me???? I need to channel my Hercule Poirot.
There are 15 Killer Shops participating and we have weekly specials. This week Batiks Etcetera & Sew What Fabrics is having a Killer Batik Sale! We really have some truly killer batiks on sale!
And the Killer Shops don’t know who did it! We are playing along. So I need to give myself some pondering time this week to figure out the word play.
It not too late to get in on some of the fun. You can start collecting clues this sixth week. There are prizes every week for detectives who collect all the clues.
This week the prize is Aurifil thread! I love Aurifil thread. We carry the solid color big spools 50 weight and 2 ply. It is as strong as 50 weight, 3 ply piecing thread. It is manufactured in Italy from 100% Long Staple Egyptian Mako Cotton. Aurifil Cotton Thread is ideal for machine quilting, detailed machine embroidery, red work, serging and lace design.
The thread is finer than what we have used for piecing in the past but just as strong. I love that I get almost 20% MORE thread on each bobbin. When I tested the thread I kept thinking I needed to change my bobbin and I kept checking it. The bobbin went on and on! Love it! Also the big spools have more than 13oo yards. They last and last.
My last endorsement is that I love anything Italian. I was born in Italy when my family was stationed there with the Navy. So I naturally lean toward Italian. And who can blame me Italy is love!
